I'll provide information on how canceling an account works in QuickBooks Online. 

 

We can only purge companies from QBO. Once you cancel your account, we will delete your data after a year. This gives you time to decide if you want to come back to your account. That said, a canceled company will be visible when logging in to QuickBooks until the scheduled deletion.

 

Otherwise, I would suggest contacting our Customer Support Team for further help if you want to immediately delete the company from your record. A live agent is equipped with tools to complete the task and access your account in a secure environment.

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. From your QuickBooks Online company, select (?) Help.
  2. Click Contact Us and enter your question.
  3. Choose a way to connect with us.

 

Please take note of their available hours so your queries will be addressed promptly.
