    Upon cancellation of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription, you will have read-only access to your company data for a duration of one year. During this time, you will be unable to enter new transactions or modify any existing data. After this one-year period, your data will be permanently removed from our servers. To prevent any loss of your data, I recommend the following steps prior to the conclusion of the year.

     

    If you signed up for QuickBooks Online through the mobile app store, here’s how you can cancel:

     

    For Apple users:

     

    1. Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
    2. Choose your Name to access your Apple ID.
    3. Then, select Subscriptions and click QuickBooks Online.
    4. Once done, click Cancel.

     

    For Android users:

     

    1. Go to the Play Store app and select the Profile icon.
    2. Click Payments & subscriptions, then click Subscriptions.
    3. Choose the QuickBooks Online app.
    4. On the Manage Subscriptions window, click Cancel Subscription.

     

    To cancel your QuickBooks subscription through your QBO account, follow these steps:

     

    1. Log into your QBO account as the Primary admin.
    2. Go to the Gear icon and click Subscriptions and billing.
    3. In the QuickBooks section, click the Cancel button.
    4. Follow the onscreen steps to finish.
