HOW DOES A NEW COMPANY EMPLOYEE LOG INTO QUICK BOOKS WITHOUT A CODE

Let me assure you that it is normal for QuickBooks Online to ask for a verification code, particularly for new employees accessing the platform for the first time. It is a security measure designed to protect your account and ensure that only authorized individuals can access your company account.

 

Once the employee successfully logs in using the verification code, your employee can turn off this feature for future logins. By doing so, QuickBooks will remember the device and browser used for the login, and the employee will not be prompted for a verification code again unless they attempt to log in from a new device or browser. Here are the steps to turn off two-step verification:

 

  1. Sign into your Intuit Account.
  2. Select Sign in & security.
  3. Choose 2-step verification.
  4. Turn off the Use 2-step verification switch.
  5. Enter your account password, then click Continue.
