I appreciate you taking the time to post your concern here in the Community forum. Let's get past this error message to connect your bank account.

Before anything else, may I know what's your financial institution? This way, I can check here on our end if there's an ongoing investigation about this.

Error 102 occurs when QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unable to connect to your bank's website. One of the possible reasons for this is that your bank is undergoing maintenance, or there is a server issue.

In most cases, this error message usually fixes itself within 24-48 hours. To ensure that this gets sorted out, let's manually update your bank account in QBO. Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Banking (Take me there) tab.
  2. Click on Update.

If you still can't connect, please wait 2-3 hours and try again.

If the issue persists, I suggest checking your bank's website to make sure everything is working on their end.

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website. If you can't sign in, reach out to your financial institute for the next steps.
  2. Look for any messages, notifications, or alerts. These should tell you if something isn't working.
  3. Review your account pages, account history, and transactions. If you can't see these, there may be connection issues.

For the time being, I recommend manually uploading your transactions into QuickBooks. However, if the error gets fixed and QuickBooks automatically downloads bank entries that may result in duplicates, you can exclude these transactions.

Moreover, I'll also share this link where you can search for articles that can serve as your reference to help with bank feeds and reconciling accounts: Banking Help Articles in QuickBooks Online.

I'm looking forward to getting this resolved. Feel free to leave a reply if you require further assistance with fixing banking errors in QuickBooks. The Community team always has your back. Have a good one.
