I'd be glad to help you change the financial year in QuickBooks. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Advanced tab and click Accounting. 
  3. Change the beginning of your financial year in the First month of fiscal year section.
  4. Click Save.
