How to setup an user account solely for HR function

Hi there, Allen.

For now, QBO does not have a specific permission or set up for HR functions. 

When adding as user, you can choose between a Company admin with full access or a Standard user with limited functions to the Sales and customers section. 

Follow these steps on how to add a user account:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage users.
2. Click Add user in the right-hand corner. 
3. Select between Company admin or Standard user, then click Next.
4. For Standard user, choose the the type of access that you want to give to this user. You can select between All, None, or Limited.
5. If you select All, the user can access and will be able to do the tasks that are listed in the right-hand corner. 
6. If you choose Limited, this user can only access specific areas in the Customer or Supplier sections.
7. Follow the succeeding prompts and enter the required details. 

Once done, an email invite will be sent to the email address that you provided. The user just needs to click on the link to create an intuit account or log in to it.
