I am trying to use the Snap Receipt function but it does not appear. Is this bc I am using in the EU/free trial version?

As I know, the receipt snap option is only available in selected regions (US, UK, Canada, and Singapore). It is unavailable in the Global versions.

Hi there, @geral-atorestaur

I recognize the benefits that the Snap Receipt function would bring to your business.

I agree with Fiat Lux - ASIA. The feature is unavailable in Portugal. You'll want to look for third-party applications specifically designed for capturing and managing receipts. While we are unable to endorse any specific app, you can visit our App Store and read customer reviews to find an application that best suits your needs.

 Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click Apps.
  2. Go to the Find Apps tab.
  3. Use the search bar to look for an app.
  4. Once you find it,  select its tile to see the reviews and pricing.
  5. To start the signup process, select Get App Now.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to install it.

Refer to this article for more info: Integrate Apps in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you'll want to run the Expenses by Supplier Summary report. This provides valuable insights into your business's spending habits and helps you make more informed financial decisions.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with any other aspect of QBO, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help.

Thank you for your reply. However I can not find any apps that mention this. Can you confirm a 3rd party app exists for photographing and auto importing paper invoices? What category of apps could this be found under? Thank you.

Hello, geral.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to us. Using an app to import your receipts and other transactions would definitely save some valuable time. So, I'd like to chime in and give some options to help us find an app that works similarly to the Snap receipt feature.

I'm unable to specifically confirm or suggest a specific app that lets you photograph and import those paper invoices. Although, @Fiat Lux - ASIA may reply here again and recommend a specific app that works best for you.

As for the category, we can look under Get Paid, then check the Invoicing section. Although, it might be worth taking a look at other categories like Manage data

If you're referring to those expense receipts, we can also check the Manage business category, and look for an app under Expense management

After finding the best app for receipts or invoices, do you also need to check your accounts receivable or other transactions after importing them? I'll share a couple of these articles as a guide:

If you'd like to open the discussion about managing your data, receipts, and invoices again, feel free to reply here. I'll also help you with other things like running reports. I'll see you again soon.
