Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Mansoor. I understand you're having trouble recording expenses in USD and when adding bank charges to your accounts in QuickBooks Online. Let's dive in and find a solution to get everything back on track.

To better assist you, could you please provide details about the specific error you're encountering? This will help me offer a more accurate solution tailored to your situation.

In the meantime, let’s start with basic troubleshooting to eliminate common browser-related issues that may cause unexpected errors or performance problems in QBO. Try accessing your account in an incognito window to rule out any browser complications. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening an incognito window:

  • Safari: Shift + ⌘ + N
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If accessing QuickBooks through an incognito window resolves the issue, I recommend clearing your browser's cache to refresh the system. If the problem persists, I suggest switching to a different supported browser.

Additionally, when you activate the multicurrency feature in QuickBooks, the system automatically uses current exchange rates to convert foreign currency transactions into your home currency values. This process helps ensure accurate accounting and reporting. For more details, please check out this article: Learn about exchange rates in QuickBooks Online.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this together. If you have any further questions or notice any changes in the error behavior, please don't hesitate to reach out. We remain committed to providing you with the best possible service and support.
