There are a couple of reasons why there's an error when resubscribing to QuickBooks Online, finance-ecommex-.

Some of the most common factors are:

  • Invalid account number
  • The card is over the limit or has expired
  • The billing address in the system includes special characters and doesn't match with the one shown on your credit card statement
  • The browser’s cache is full

I'll share with you the steps on how you can resolve this type of issue in QBO.

First, make sure to check the expiration date and number of your card to make sure you're typing in the correct information.

Second, use or switch to an incognito/private browsing session or a different browser. You can follow these keyboard shortcuts to quickly open an incognito session:

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl Shift P for Microsoft Edge

Third, go back to your account and try to resubscribe. If you're able to do it successfully, delete some cache and temporary internet files. You can follow the steps in this article to do it: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online

Alternatively, you can also use a different card. The balance or permissions of a different card can allow the payment. Here's an article for additional details: Fix “my subscription payment failed” Issues.

Lastly, I'd like to add one more article as an additional reference: Understand Your QuickBooks Online subscription Rate.

And as always, you can always ask more questions in the Community if you need anything else.

Hello. Thanks for your reply.

I cleared the cache, tried incognito and a new credit card. It is still not working. Also the billing address matches the account address.

Please help.

Thanks.
