Question

I have been using qb for about 5 years. We have an error due to the number of digits in our revenue field. How can we increase the number of places in a field?

Welcome to Community, @joseph25.

At this time, the option to increase the number of places in the field is unavailable. If you're running a report, you can export the report in Excel as a workaround. This way, you can add the remaining decimal places in the revenue field.

To export:

  1. Open your desired report.
  2. In the report page, click the Export icon beside the Printer icon.
  3. Select Export to Excel.
  4. Open the Excel Worksheet and modify the field from there.

Learn more about exporting at this guide: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.
