I'm trying to open quickbooks on a different computer and the email with the code takes more than 5 minutes to come and expires in 5 minutes. What are my other options?

Hello, hosting-ehhzam-c. 

 

In order to see both options (SMS and Email) Two-step verification will need to be turned off in Your Account. This will allow you the option to choose SMS to receive the verification code.

 

To do this: 

 

  1. Navigate to Your Account (see link above)
  2. Select Sign in & Security
  3. Choose Two-step verification and Turn Off
  4. You will then be asked to enter your password to proceed. 

 

 Note: Turning off two-step verification will not prompt a code to be entered every time you login. Once Two Step verification is disabled, the code can be sent to email or phone. When the code is entered, it will save a cookie in browser which expires only if cookies are cleared. If you require a code to be entered each time you may need to clear your browser cookies before logging in or set your browser to do this automatically when it is opened.
