I'd be happy to provide a more detailed guide on how to upgrade your subscription to QuickBooks Essential, Mohamed.

Before proceeding with the upgrade process, it's important to note that if you have a discount or promotional offer, you'll lose the benefit of that discount when switching to a different plan as QuickBooks Online subscriptions have specific pricing and billing schedules.

Therefore, if you're currently on a promotional plan and want to switch to a different plan, you should consider the cost difference and whether the new plan offers the features you need before making the switch.

However, if you still want to continue changing your subscription, let's first check out the available pricing plans to see which subscription level is right for you.

To upgrade your subscription, here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
  2. Go to Settings and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Make sure your payment info is up to date.
  4. In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
  5. Review the available plans and then select Choose plan.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your plan.
