Welcome to the Community, Arman. When you subscribe to QBO, there's no way to pause your subscription. Yes, we can resolve this, allow me to explain this further.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not offer a feature to pause subscriptions. If you anticipate not using your QBO account for a period, such as three consecutive months, you may opt to cancel your subscription to minimize expenses.

Prior to canceling your QuickBooks account, it is advisable to ensure that all important data and reports have been securely saved, as editing or creating this information may be lost upon account cancellation.

For optimal results, we recommend canceling your account before the end of your subscription period if you wish to utilize any remaining days. This action will prevent the system from processing further payments. To verify your renewal date, please navigate to Settings ⚙️, and then select Subscription and Billing.

To cancel your account as a primary or company admin, here's how:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️ and select Subscription and billing under Profile.
  2. In the QuickBooks window, choose Cancel, Cancel Subscription, or Cancel Online.

  3. Follow the on-screen steps.

Take note that if you cancel your QBO account, you can still have read-only access to your data for one year after cancellation, and you won't be able to make any changes. Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.

Once you're back and ready to resubscribe, the system will charge you for the current subscription rate, but it won't charge you for the unsubscribed months. Take a look at this article for more details: Resubscribe to or reactivate QuickBooks Online.
