Question

Is anybody having an issue with the account and settings panel, of only having available the company and billing & subscription tab?

Everything was fine while I was using the 30 day trial, once I subscribed It made me create a new business profile and all was fine until I noticed I do not have the sales, expenses, advanced and other tabs available in account and settings.

Once you resubscribe to QuickBooks or even ended a trial subscription, these tabs should be visible in your Account and settings. 

 

It's possible that too much cache build-up in your current browser might cause this behavior. At times, excessively accumulated cache in a browser can cause unexpected results with the product. 

 

Let's run some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue and fix it. Let's start by accessing your account in a private window. Simply press the following shortcut keys to open this mode:
 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox ).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

 

If it works, let's clear your browser's cache to delete temporarily stored files and free some space on your browser. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers if the issue persists.

I have used the incognito window on chrome, updated it, cleaned my cache and even tried on safari which I never use and I still have the same issue. I even had a direct complaint a week ago, I got an update 6 days ago that they where working on it, but afterward no further information or update. Not sure if its due to me using the spanish version, but without all the settings available I can't even change the language and see if that is the problem.

First, I appreciate you for following the steps provided by my colleague above to get around this issue. 

 

I've checked here on my end and discovered an ongoing investigation that other users also have the same issue with their settings missing some options. Please know that this has been raised with our engineer for further investigation. 

 

I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team to have them add you to the list of affected users and notify you once there's a potential solution. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Help (?). 
  2.  Click Search and select Contact Us.
  3. Please enter your question and choose Continue.
  4. Review and Select from the following: Ask the community, Have us call you, or Chat with us.
