Locating the license number for QuickBooks Online

I appreciate you for choosing QuickBooks Online. I'd like to provide some insights about QuickBooks.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't have a license number. The license number is only applicable in the QuickBooks Desktop product. You can find the license number by pressing F2. When signing up for a QuickBooks Online plan, you'll be required to choose what region you want for your QBO account.

That said, you should be in the correct region/country when signing up for QuickBooks, so your email will be recognized. 
 

Also, since you're using QuickBooks Online, you will have a Company ID instead. To locate the company ID, you can follow the steps below.

1. Open or sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
2. Go to the Gear icon.
3. Select Account and settings.
4. In the Billing & Subscription, you can view your company ID.

Where is your company located? License number is only applicable for QB Desktop.
