My account linked with the bank is not getting updated on quickbooks (error 163)

Yesterday the error 107 was resolved but today i get error 163. What could be the solution to this?

I'll help you get past error 163 when updating your online banking in QuickBooks Online, @shotengroup.

 

Before anything else, may I know your bank's name? This way, we can check if there are any known issues

 

This type of error commonly occurs when your bank experiences an issue. It's likely that your bank's website is down for maintenance or is experiencing server troubles.

 

The length of time it is fixed is determined by your banking institution. The majority of them fix the problem within 24 hours.

 

I suggest manually updating your bank in QBO to verify if the connection is back. Here's how:

 

  1. From the left pane, open the Banking menu or Transactions menu 
  2. Then, go to the Banking page.
  3. Click on Update at the top right.

 

If the problem continues, please visit the website of your bank or credit card. Try navigating and see whether everything is working for them.

 

If the problem persists after 48 hours, I suggest calling our Phone Support team so that they can file a ticket and investigate further.
