Question

The billing amount has suddenly increased over three times this month. There is no email communication from Intuit regarding any impending hike in the subscription fees.

If anyone else has faced this issue, please suggest how to go ahead. A 3x hike is difficult to budget for, more so with no prior intimation.

How much is your bill now? INR 1,059 ++ or > 3150 ?

Let's check why your billing amount has increased multiple times this month, logicologyventur.

We haven't received a note about a price increase. The latest we had was last August 1, 2021. Check out this link for more details: 2021 QuickBooks Online Pricing Update.

Your current subscription rate is dependent upon its original rate and any discounts offered at the time your subscription began. We can go to the Account & Billing Subscription page to see the details of it.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Accounts and Settings.
  3. On the left panel, click the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Look for the View Payment History link and click it.

Also, if your rate seems higher than you expected, here are some scenarios that could explain why.

  • Tax/GST is added to the base subscription price.
  • You had promotional discounts that have now expired, and your subscription now bills at the regular price.
  • You recently upgraded from Simple Start to Essentials, or from Essentials to Plus.

You can find more details about this through this link: Understand your QuickBooks Online subscription rate.

You may also contact our QuickBooks Live Team. They can pull up your account and check your subscription.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern.
  4. Click Let’s talk.
  5. Choose Start a chat. and type in your contact info.

I'm sorry if I sound rude but it appears you haven't understood what the issue is or you simply don't want to acknowledge the issue here.

I don't need any tutorials on how to check the billing details and other stuff.

My question is fairly straight forward - The subscription fees have suddenly increased and there has been no communication from Intuit. This is nothing but deceiving the customers.

Also, I don't understand how you mark the issue as auto solved without a go ahead from the customer who raised the issue in first place. Surely not the support expected from an organization like Intuit.
