Unable assign to the account from the Currency dropdown menu.

I'm here to help you assign a currency to an account, masood1.

 

Is the Currency drop-down grayed out? If so, you're unable to assign a new currency to your existing accounts.

 

You need to create a new account on your Chart of Accounts, then assign a foreign currency. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️, then Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click New.
  3. From the Account dialog, select the appropriate Account Type and Detail Type.
  4. Enter a Name for the new account and an optional Description as well as any other required fields.
  5. Select the foreign currency to assign to the account from the Currency ▼ drop-down menu.
  6. Click Save and close.
