Unable to turn Projects into My quickbooks online account

Hi, 

 

Can someone help me with my queries.

 

I am unable to add projects as the Advanced Tab does not show the Project after Automation.

Second I want to upgrade my account but there seems to be a problem with that too.

 

This is quiet frustrating as there are no call centers with whom we can discuss and resolve the issue but we have to wait around and chat with the Help feature which is also not of much help.

I can help you with your queries, Kinjal Parikh.

 

The Project feature can only be set up and manage in QuickBooks Online Plus, Advanced, and Accountant.

 

If you're not using one of these plans, we're unable to turn this on in the Advanced tab. You can upgrade your plan. If you consider doing this, take look at this step-by-step visual below to see how to do it.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. In the Billing & Subscription section, click Upgrade. If you don't see it, you’re already using the plan with the most features.
  4. Choose the plan you want, and click Upgrade.
  5. Confirm your payment information and click Save.

 

On the other hand, if you're in the Plus plan, you should be able to use this feature. We can log in to an incognito window. This type of window doesn’t store any cache that causes a browser to load slowly or experiencing unusual behavior. 

 

Here are the shortcut keys you can use depending on the browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If it works fine, go to your regular browser and clear its cache to prevent any unexpected behavior. Also, you can use other compatible browsers in QBO.
