Question

Want to change payment method for my subscription from Credit card to one time NetBanking. System is not showing me any option to do it. How do I do it?

Recurring monthly payment via credit cards is not working now and all credit and debit cards in India have the problem after the RBI mandate. Bank is not able to help me. Neither does QuickBooks have a solution. What can I do to make the payment? My account is already in suspended state and will get cancelled in a week.

Hello there, KPSL.

I appreciate all your efforts in trying to update your payment method. I’m here to help and ensure you’ll be able to reactivate your subscription.

Since you’re unable to see net banking as an option, use a cash card account to renew the account. Let me guide you through the process.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top and choose Account and settings under Your company.
  2. Tap the Billing & Subscription menu on the left panel and click the Pencil icon next to your payment method.
  3. Then, enter your cash card information.
  4. Review the address for your credit card. It must be the same one that appears on your credit card statements.
  5. Click Confirm card or Save.

Check out this guide to learn more about the process. It includes instructions on how to accomplish the following tasks: Update billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

Once done, you can now reactivate the account. Follow the recommended steps in this article: Renew my account subscription.

If none of these suggestions work, I suggest contacting our QBO Care Team again for further assistance. They can enter the payment information for you. Then, make sure your subscription is up and running again.
