Question

We are not using quick books for monthly accounting, we just need it for our maintaining accounting records. So will the monthly subscription amount charged be same?

I understand that subscription payment is a business expense, so I would also ask the same thing if I were in your situation. I'll share the information with you.

 

Apparently, Intuit will charge you the same amount even if you don't use your QuickBooks. If you won't use it for a few months, might as well cancel it temporarily and resubscribe when you need it back. However, please be sure to resubscribe in less than a year. Otherwise, your data will be wiped out from the system, and this is irreversible.

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
  2. Select Settings ⚙ and then Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel trial.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to finish the cancellation.
