What is the reason I can not remove attachments

The browser's cache may affect the issue of why you can't remove attachments in QuickBooks Online (QBO). At this time, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. To save you time, you can use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

 

From there, follow these steps to remove the attachments:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then tap on Attachments.
  2. Look for the attachment you want to delete.
  3. Click on the drop-down menu next to Download and select Delete.
  4. Hit Yes to confirm the action.

 

If it works fine, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the result.
