I got your back on how you can get rid of the message that you received when closing your tax return.

The message you received will show up if you've entered a Closing date selected the Close the books option in QuickBooks Online.

To fix this, you'll need to remove the Closing date and uncheck the Close the books option.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin or company admin. Only admins can make these changes.
2. Go to the Gear icon and then select Accounts and Settings.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Select Edit ✎ in the Accounting section.
5. Uncheck the Close the books checkbox.
6. Remove the Closing date.
7. Select on Save.
