Why is my account type little different from the QuickBooksHelp website?

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-ca/help-article/chart-accounts/add-edit-chart-accounts/L0pYMeZK6_CA_en_CA?uid=lo2d4j2f
According to this page, Account Types have
Accounts Payable A/P
Accounts Receivable A/R
Bank
Credit Card
Equity
Asset, Current Asset, Fixed Asset
Other Current Liability or Long Term Liability

But my account types are these below, it little different form the BuickBooksHelp site
Accounts receivable (A/R)
Current assets
Cash and cash equivalents
Fixed assets
Non-current assets
Accounts payable (A/P)
Credit card
Current liabilities
Non-current liabilities
Owner's equity
Income
Other income
Cost of sales
Expenses
Other expense

I would like to know
1. Why its different?
2. If I want the same account type as the QuickBooksHelp site shows, where should I register a QBO account?

Where is your company located?

The link you mentioned is only applicable for QBO Canadian version.

Let me share some information about the Chart of Accounts list available on your QuickBooks Online (QBO) region, donna1671.

The link you've provided is in the QBO Canada version. The Chart of Accounts is a list of all the accounts that QuickBooks uses to track your financial information. For the QBO International version, you can check out this article on the list of account types available in your region: Learn about the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

Also, there are two user views: Business view and Accountant view. You can switch between them anytime and changing views doesn't affect your accounts or data. We can switch it to the Accountant view to have complete control of your Chart of Accounts. Please know that each view has different features, menus, and button names. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Switch to Accountant view.

By doing this, you’ll have more options to change the information about your accounting data. From there, you can edit the account type.

You can also refer to this article to learn more about each view: Switch between Business and Accountant view in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to read through this guide that will assist you with matching your QuickBooks accounts and bank statements: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other account-type concerns, just reply to this post. I'd be more than willing to provide additional assistance. Have a good one.
