Hello there.

I understand how inconvenient it is to have you adjust to a new product that you're not used to working on. Know that we only wish you to experience the best kind of service while using the program. The QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and QuickBooks Online (QBO) are slightly different in their interfaces but with very similar functions.

If you're using a 2020 version of QBDT with a one-time license, you still have the option to use it even after the discontinuation date. However, the services add-ons will no longer be available.

On the other hand, QBO offers you the advantage of accessing, monitoring, and tracking your business easily anytime and anywhere as long as you have an internet connection.

If you're currently subscribed to QBO, I'd be pleased to guide you through the steps on how to print invoices. Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Sales tab, then select Invoices.

  2. Locate the invoice you want to print, then click on the action dropdown next to the Receive payment.
  3. Once ready, click on Print.

You can also edit them before printing by clicking on the pencil icon on the invoice. Here's how:

  1. In the Sales tab, locate the invoice you want to edit before printing, then click the pencil icon.

  2. Once edited, click on Print or Preview.

  3. Select Print to proceed to print.

Moreover, I'll also share this article that can serve as your reference to learn how to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms in QuickBooks: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
