I'm here to help complete the cancellation process, lushai.

If you're referring to your QuickBooks Online subscription, you'll want to perform it inside your account.

Let me show you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Company Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Billing and subscription tab.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, click Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  4. Select Continue to cancel, then select Continue to cancel again (if applicable).
  5. Follow the next steps and click Submit and cancel subscription.
  6. Click Got it.

Please take note that the length of time the system stores your data depends on how your account was cancelled:

  • If a paid subscription subscription is terminated, your data will be available in read-only access for 1 year from the date of cancellation.
  • If it's still on the trial period, your data will be available in read-only access for 90 days.

Check out this article for additional information: Cancel your subscription.

Let us know if you're referring to something else by commenting below. I'm always right here to help.

For accounts older than 60days, you’ll need to cancel them and subscribe to another one, @Ed84

This is a great workaround to start from scratch if you can no longer delete the data. Below are the steps to do so:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Accounts and Settings and go to Billing and Subscription.
  3. Locate the subscription and click Cancel.
  4. Follow the succeeding instructions.

Check this out for additional information: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.

Also, you can export some of your lists to Excel so you can import them easily to the new company. Take a look at this article for more details: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.

Stay around if there's anything else you'd like to discuss.
