How can I switch the app to Canada from US?

Allow me to share some insights with you on how you can set up your QuickBooks for Canada account. We're unable to switch versions from one country to another.

You'll need to subscribe to a brand new account for the country you want to use and cancel the service for United States.

I can guide you through the steps to get the correct country for QuickBooks Online. To sign-up for the service and establish your Canada profile, go to thiss link: Choose your country for QuickBooks. From there, you can select to buy and avail any promotions for the program. Click the "Buy now or Free 30-day trial" options for the product you think will work for your business.

Once you establish the correct account, proceed to cancel the US product. Follow these steps to cancel a QBO USA account:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Click the Gear icon at the top right section of your Dashboard.
3. Tap Account and Settings.
4. Choose Billing & Subscription.
5. In the Payroll section, click Cancel or Cancel trial.
6. Hit Continue to cancel.
7. Answer the short survey, and select Confirm cancel.

If your account is less than 60 days or was recently billed for the US subscription, contact us to discuss your refunds and billing concerns. Our phone representatives can pull up your account with us and check your subscription history to see if you're eligible for reimbursements.

1. Go to the Help menu in QuickBooks, then choose the Search tab.
2. At the bottom, click on Contact us.
3. Enter the keyword Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
4. On the next screen, scroll-down to How would you like to connect with us section.
5. Choose your contact option to initiate a discussion with a live agent.

Where is your company located? If you are located in the US, you can utilize a 3rd party merchant service to accept international payments. But if you are located in CA, you should open a new blank QBO CA account and purchase a 3rd party conversion service if required.
