How do I set my year end in the app. All help articles refer to the desktop software.

It's vital that your books are set up correctly so that your year ends will balance. QuickBooks Online allows you the option to edit your settings in order to make sure it aligns with your company's fiscal year. I can show you how to make this change in QuickBooks Online.
In order to edit your fiscal year, you'd need to log into QuickBooks through a browser on a computer, as this change can't be done in the mobile app. Start by navigating to qbo.ca, and selecting the Sign in option. Enter your credentials, and select the company in question. Once connected, click on the Gear Icon, then Account and settings. In the Advanced tab, you should be able to find the First month of fiscal year setting in the Accounting section.
