Class Action Lawsuit against Intuit. I am currently collecting names and business to file a class action lawsuit. Email me.

My $20,000 in deposits are being held and have not been released.  I now understand after reading the same story over and over, that this has happened repeatedly to others and Intuit  has no intention of releasing my deposits quickly.  It has damaged my business.

I am collecting customers and stories to file a class action lawsuit against Intuit.

I am encouraging anyone who has had Quicken hold deposits to send me an email at [removed].  I am current compiling facts and customers to file a class action lawsuit against Intuit.  This must stop.

I will be posting and reposting this on all social media.

I would certainly like to join the class action. I invoiced a client for $122k, QBO deposited the $22k, but held the $100k. I answered and uploaded quite a bit of information, but got nowhere. Took 90 days, the threat of a lawsuit and my attorney's email back and forth with Intuit to finally get the money released. I have a thorough timeline of events and all corresponding exhibits already prepared. I would prefer to communicate direct with the law firm so I don't have to worry about redacting content, etc. Can you provide me their contact info so I can get them my information?

Can you try to share you information with me, they constantly block my info. I'll add you to our running list of names.

i'm in the midst of it with a lawyer myself. Maybe our layers could join up? How do i contact you?

    February 2, 2024

Unfortunately I don't know. Every time I post my email or phone number they remove it. You can try to post yours and i'll try to grab it before they take it down.

Happened to me yesterday. They told me they will hold payments up to 180 days and my merchant account was closed permanently for “business reasons.” They also won’t remove my credit card from file so if any clients dispute the charge, I believe I’ll incur chargebacks. Anyone know about this? I have no idea how this is legal. I had no idea that could do this for the very unclear reason of “business decisions.” Very difficult as a brand new business to absorb these losses right in the beginning. And I have no idea what I did wrong.

I don’t see any class actions online but I’ll be interested to join. My name is Jill. My email is [removed]. Obviously no spaces. Not dot com but dot ai. Loop me in if a class action is moving forward.

I was looking up lawers to sue Intuit and stumbled across this post. They are doing the same thing to me I have funds being held by the order of the department they the support specialists called "Intuits backend".)Who are no name ,no number,Intuits shot callers!can you help me get in touch with a lawyer.?

    February 10, 2024

I never would have sent payments through this systems so quickly but when I finished setting up the merchant account, it prompted me to "send invoices now!" Did they also prompt you to send invoices before your account was fully approved? This is my problem with the situation. If they know there's still an approval process and these funds could get indefinitely locked up if the approval is not granted, that should be communicated in the beginning.

    Good luck!

Are you guys still taking names and information down?? How do i reach you???

    February 13, 2024

I would like to know how to add my name. I am on the phone, on hold, with them now. I have a $2300 payment that was received at 9 am EST and I also have instant deposits. The funds are on hold. I asked why, and I was told I have a daily limit of $2000 for payments. I asked where is that displayed on my account, and the rep couldn't answer but told me she would send it to their engineering team. I asked again why isn't this information disclosed to your customers, especially since I've been a customer for over a year. She told me it won't appear for the customers, it's just something they know and can see.
At what point does someone show some integrity with this company? Do they not understand bad business practices, fraud, deception, etc?
Every month for the past 4 months there has been some type of issue with my deposits and no explanation why. This is their site but there has to be another way or site for customers who want to join the lawsuit can because they do is monitor these posts and give bogus irrelevant responses. I've been on Linkedin, Facebook and other platforms and see all the same complaints.

Quickbooks closed my merchant account without a single charge back or customer complaint. Only that too many charges were declined in a short period. So that's fine. My clients can pay in other ways. However, there was a $3100 approved payment that they are holding indefinitely !!!! They say it's to cover "potential charge backs" . What the he'll does that mean???? They can hold this $$$ forever???

My client paid for a service. He needs his $ returned so I can be paid some other way.

I never had a charge back.  How is this ok???

I am trying to get help with the $649.00 subscription charge that is coming in April.  I do not use QB

on line service or any updates. I spent two hours today trying to get a lower cost for what I do and the young man wouldn't even try to help me he said the $649.00 or they freeze my quickbooks until I pay. This is what my little company is all about I go into my clients bank account with my ID and PW I print out their bank statements and credits cards.  Open their company in QB and balance statements give them a P&L and Balance sheet. There is not payroll involved. I back up with a usb drive.

There has got to be something that has to change small company's like mine who has to work to supplement my small social security income.

    Hi there, @Vickki

Thank you for sharing your concerns regarding the subscription charge for QuickBooks Desktop (QB) and your specific business needs. I understand that you are looking for a more affordable solution and exploring options to accommodate your small company's requirements. I'm here to provide clarification.

Please note that QuickBooks Desktop is indeed a subscription-based service, and the charges are typically set according to the subscription plan you choose. Auto-renewal is a standard practice for ensuring uninterrupted access to the software.

As an alternative, you may consider migrating to QuickBooks Online (QBO), which is a cloud-based accounting solution. QBO offers the advantage of accessibility from any device with internet access, providing flexibility for your work. It may be worth exploring whether QBO can meet your needs while potentially offering more cost-effective pricing options.

Regarding your upcoming subscription charges, I recommend reaching out to QuickBooks support directly. They will be able to provide you with more specific information about your account and assist you in exploring any available options or promotions that may help reduce your costs.

    Here’s how:

    1. Go to Help and click QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
    2. Select Contact Us.
    3. Provide a short explanation of your concern, then click Continue.
    4. Sign in to your Intuit account, select Continue, then Continue with my account.
    5. We'll email you a single-use code. Type in your code and click Continue.
    6. Choose to chat with us or Have us call you.

I understand the importance of finding a solution that aligns with your small company's financial situation and the need to supplement your income. By contacting QuickBooks support, you can discuss your specific requirements and potentially find a more suitable solution.

Refer to this article for more information about managing your account and services with the Customer Account Maintenance Portal (CAMPs): Manage your QuickBooks Desktop subscriptions and services

Please let me know how it goes or if you have any other issues. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. I'll be here to help. Have a good one!
