Account sign-up for adding users

My company usually works with some temporary employees. I wonder if the Timesheet allows the adding user to sign up or log in without providing their phone number. The admin can provide a phone number. However, our regular users don't want to provide their phone numbers. If it is possible, please give me details instructions on how to do that as well. Thank you.

Yes, you can add a user in QuickBooks Time without adding their phone number. 

 

Once you invite your employees to QuickBooks Time, all you have to ask is their email addresses. After they receive the invitation, they can create a user ID  and password. They have the option to use their phone number, email, or user ID when signing on to QuickBooks Time.

 

Here's how to invite your employees to QB Time:

 

  1. Go to Payroll and click Employees.
    • For a new employee, select Add an employee.
    • For an existing employee, select your employee.
  2. From Personal Info, click Edit. Add your employee’s email address and select the Invite this employee to track and record their hours with QuickBooks Time by QuickBooks checkbox.
  3. Click Done and the invitation will be emailed to your employee.
