Once the employee has clocked out for the day, the time clock will clock them back in and out several times that day. How can this be corrected?
Hello there, I'm trying to setup QuickBooks Time with GeoFencing. The instructions found here (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/feature-preferences/set-use-geofencing-quickbooks-time/L3pZUXKzW_US_en_US?uid=masphne5#addageofence) do not match the interface that I am seeing, in either FireFox or Chrome. There does not appear to be a way to turn on/off geofencing and there does not appear to be a way to change the radius size for the geofence (see interface screenshot attached). Additionally, It is allowing me to clock in/out from anywhere. It does not appear to limit as promoted. I have restricted settings on the user account and company settings according to the instructions, but nothing seems to change the behavior. Thanks for any advice!
The instructions found here (Add a geofence to a job or customer ) do not match the interface I am seeing (see attached screenshot). When I add an address, and Google recognizes it, there are no additional settings, such as turning geofencing on / off or changing the radios as is described in the instructions. I have tried in both FireFox and Chrome. The workforce app is allowing me to clock in / out from anywhere. I can see on the timesheet that it has an accurate location for where I clocked in, but it is nowhere near the job site. I have been through the instructions for enabling location services on the app and the Company / Job settings in QuickBooks Time. Please advise
Something with the recent changes to Quickbooks time wiped out all of my company's Time entries for April. I can't find an option to Contact Support (all of the links just redirect to the chatbot in my account, and there's no legitimate Contact Us form, phone number, or email address listed). Has anyone run into this problem, and is there any way to recover our data? Having all of my employees go dig up timesheet backups and re-enter data they already entered in Quickbooks is a non-trivial task.
For several weeks I have been having connectivity issues while entering timecards in QB Time, and also when switching between employees. We are using QuickBooks Enterprise desktop but our data file is located on a cloud server. When I import hours from time sheets into my invoice, quickbooks always add the name, hours and rate to the end of my description. Does anyone knows how to stop that? Thanks.
How do I get the new single time entry screen to keep "billable" selected and not have to select it with each entry, even when using a service which is marked as billable?
What does the little red flag in the top right corner mean? I have them on all of my time entries.

I think there was some sort of update last night or in the last couple of days -- it seems with every update, something new breaks. We use QBO for Time Tracking (not TSheets, just plain old time tracking). You can enter a new [Single Activity Time] entry (just like we have done for 20+ years), but if you click the History button on the top left to pull up a previous entry, nothing seems to happen. At least with the prior release, it sort of worked most of the time (sometimes it would not always show the last entry for some odd reason). Sure, I can get to it another way, but that is not the point. Is this working correctly for anyone? (we have tried it on 3 different machines and different browsers, etc).Con
It worked a couple of weeks ago but now it seems like Gusto has made some changes to how it interacts with TSheets but I don't know how to sync employees since this change.
We have employees whose mileage we do not want to track because they are provided with a company vehicle.Is there a way to disable the mileage tracking for specific users?While not super important, it would just save us the step of zeroing out those employees' mileage when exporting weekly to our payroll system.
One of our employees got a new phone and phone number. She has been having issues with her Workforce app ever since. Last week she uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it says there is no company associated with her. She still shows up properly in the system. What can we try to get it working again?

Our organization just started using QuickBooks Time. Because it's linked to our QuickBooks Online system, it displays all 2,618 customers. Each employee should only be able to see a few customers. If I go into the Manage Customers window, it seems like the only way I can change a customer to be assigned to all is if I click each one, uncheck the inbox, and click save. I don't want to do that manually for all 2,618 customers. Is there a way I can mass uncheck those boxes?Thanks!
When I try to make multiple edits to the schedule at some point the edit button goes to a blank screen
I have several new employees that can't see their pay stubs on the app. Is there a setting I have missed? Our old employees don't have an issue.
Live Chat is crap. There is no live chat. It's just an auto program that keeps sending you to worthless information. I've been trying to add a new employee for a week now and still can't get it to work. I've had nothing but problems since change from TSheets to Time. I think they changed the name to Time because it's time for me to look else where. I don't have time to sit here on the phone waiting or typing this message.
I have the need to track time for a customer/client. I seemed to see somewhere in QuickBooks Desktop 2021 an option to do this and now I cannot find it. Was it there or am I mistaken... Thanks!
I am having issues getting my hours from quickbooks time to QBO for billing my hours. Once I've filled out my hours, i approve mine and employee hours but time stops me and wants me to fill out my hourly amount - Obviously, i dont get paid hourly..... If i make nothing on a job, i simply dont get paid..... so how do i set this up correctly so that quickbooks online isnt creating a huge mess with my worker comp, state and federal with holdings. I tried asking a few years ago when i had a rep from Time online with some other problems i was having.... but either i neglected to remember to ask or it got glossed over so quickly i thought it would be easy to figure out... its not. Id rather not lose the 4 hours of trying to make a phone call, google or ai just leads me back to that same dilemma and doesnt address the issue of me becomming an employee and be garnished for with holdings etc. What am i missing?Glenn
I need a report to distribute at production meetings to see who has requested " time off " both approved and unapproved time off. We would also use this report for scheduling workers for workflow? What report shows who has asked off for the next few weeks or few months?I would like to be able to narrow it down to dates in the futureI would specifically like to see vacation requests. Vacation requested is I dont care about anything in the past, only the future. ThanksLDO
When entering a single day transaction, it used to remember the previous day you said you said you were entering for. So if you are entering an entry for today for someone for yesterday, it defaults to the current day & you have to change the day each time you make an entry. Also, we had it set to enter start/ stop times before - now you have to hit the set clock in /out every single entry you make in order to do so. How can these things be adjusted? Thanks!
I accidentally upgrade from Self-Employed Online to Quickbook Online. Now all my receipts are missing.Using QBO the transaction suggestion is so wrong. The Bank Connection is never able to reestablished.And they would not let you downgrade back which is crazy!I am thinking of moving away from this stupid tax software.
