Mileage Tracking

We have employees whose mileage we do not want to track because they are provided with a company vehicle.

Is there a way to disable the mileage tracking for specific users?

While not super important, it would just save us the step of zeroing out those employees' mileage when exporting weekly to our payroll system.

Thanks for turning to the Community for support. I'm happy to provide some info about turning off mileage tracking for your employee in QuickBooks Time.

 

This setting can be changed in a few steps. The following info details how to turn tracking on. Have your employee follow these steps and make sure the setting is turned OFF:

 

For iOS
1. On your iOS device, go to Settings, then select Workforce.
2. Select Location, then Always.
3. Make sure your global location settings are also on.
4. On your iOS device, go to Settings, select Privacy & Security, then Location Services.
5. Turn on Location Services.
