Employee clocking in on their phone

Once the employee has clocked out for the day, the time clock will clock them back in and out several times that day.  How can this be corrected?

This behavior can occur if an employee is using multiple mobile devices or their time zone is set in the future, Tyler.

 

To fix this, have your employee use one mobile device and clock into the same platform. Then, enable the automatic time zone. 

 

In Android:

  1. Click Settings, then System.
  2. Select Date & Time and turn on Use network-provided time zone.

In iOS:

 

  1. Select Settings, then General.
  2. Click Date & Time and turn on Set Automatically.
