Customer doesn't show in QuickBooks if I made them in Shopify and they don't have an invoice yet

I want to build a quote inside QuickBooks with a customer I made in Shopify, but QuickBooks will only sync customers who have an existing invoice. I have to make a invoice for that customer first so that QuickBooks will sync the customer so I can build my quote. Any way to allow QuickBooks connector to sync customer data immediately, even without a invoice? Much appreciated.

I understand the challenges when you're unable to seamlessly sync customer data from Shopify to QuickBooks, Tiara. I appreciate you for taking the time to tell us about your concern. I'll make sure you'll be guided to the right support available.

 

Please know that QuickBooks only rely on the transactions posted from your integrated third-party app. Thus, you can check the App settings to see if it's set up correctly.

You can use a 3rd party connector to do so.

Do you know a good one? I have an issue that also duplicates customer accounts in QuickBooks when I change the customer name in shopify, instead of updating the customer name in QuickBooks.
