Employee showing up 5 times in tsheets

I have an employee that’s only in quickbooks one time, but there are five of them showing up in tsheets and it won’t let me get rid of any or send an invite to any

Know that the QBO system does not allow the usage of the same employee name and information. In your case, there may be a discrepancy in the details provided for your employees, which causes multiple instances of the same employee name. This issue prevents you from deleting duplicates or sending invitations. Let's go through troubleshooting steps to resolve this matter.

 

Start by logging out of your QBO account and signing in using a private or incognito browser. Doing so helps refresh any changes applied to your QBO account. You can use these keyboard shortcuts below:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

From there, check if you can delete them or send any invitations. If it works, return to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing your cache helps clean up browser cookies that block web pages from loading.

I tried clearing my cache and doing the incognito browser earlier when I was searching for a solution. Neither worked. I have only the employee in my quickbooks payroll, but 5 show up in tsheets which gives me an error when sending invites because it says the email is already in use. The employee has workforce downloaded but can’t see a place to clock in. And we can’t invite him to anything else

  1.  Sign in to QuickBooks Time. 
  2. From the Help menu, select Contact Us.
  3. Type a brief description of your concern and select Let's Talk or Start a Chat.
