Employees and quickbooks users can't be unarchived

Any time I try and unarchive a teammate from the My Team section in Time so I can review an ex-tm schedule it says "Employees and Quickbooks users can't be unarchived" and the option is greyed out. I know I am doing it the right way so I must be doing something else wrong to get this error.

Thanks for posting in the Community, Zanath. Let me provide information as to why you're unable to unarchive a teammate from the My Team section in QuickBooks Time (QB Time).

It's important to note that the primary Admin of the account has access to managing all team members, including actions such as unarchiving a person from the team.

To resolve this issue, we can have the assigned Admin of the QB Time account log in to unarchive the employees. If you are the assigned Admin of the account and the Unarchive button is greyed out, we can perform troubleshooting to determine the cause.

First, let's review if this is a browser-related issue and start by opening your account in a private browser which ignores historical data. These are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the error is fixed after this, you'll want to clear your regular browser cache. Another option is to use other supported browsers.

You can always come back to this thread if you have more queries on unarchiving a teammate from QB Time or QuickBooks in general. I'll be on the lookout for your replies. Have a great day!
