Good day, dcouch!

Each added user on your QuickBooks Online account has their own unique user ID and password. Once they accept the invitation, they need to create their login credentials. Currently, we're unable to view the users' login details.

If they forgot their login info, they can reset them. On the login page, they simply need to click the I forgot my user ID or Password and follow the on-screen steps.

Also, I've added some articles you can check. These will show you the steps if you need to update some details or their access rights:

You can always reach out to us if you have other questions. We'll respond as soon as we can.

As an administrator i would consider it very unusual that I can't see the the user's ID and not have the ability to reset password.  Ar there any plans to provide these capabilities?

Good morning, @dcouch.

I understand where you’re coming from on this. To provide some clarity, employee login information for QuickBooks Time is linked to every Intuit product. This includes Mint, Turbo Tax, etc.  Because of this, logins are employee-managed to help keep their information across Intuit secure.

Aside from login info, you are able to control almost everything else as an admin! As mentioned earlier, your employee can manage and verify their login/password information by heading to accounts.intuit.com. If they are having any trouble with the process, please let me know! I’m happy to walk through some troubleshooting to get them back online.

Let me know if I can help with anything else, I'm only a post away! Take care.

When it was still tsheets, you would be able to view and edit the username and password. That information is no longer there in QuickBooks time. It is very frustrating because before you were able to edit that info to get your employees logged in. Now you have to contact customer service. I was just on the phone with them for an hour and we were still unable Ron get the employee to be able to log in via their cell phone. Kind of messed up a good thing in the transition. Please allow admin to view and edit this info again!

Greetings, @Awhitehat

Thanks for chiming in on this thread and letting us know your concern about reviewing user IDs and passwords for your employees.

The security of your and your employees' data and personal information is very important to us. While we understand it is a transition, the update to this new account management system was to enhance security of this data, bringing it in line with all other Intuit products.

However, as part of the change, employees are able to fully manage their own login information if anything needs to be updated. They can do so anytime at accounts.intuit.com without having to go through support.

Please let me know if you or your employee are able to try that out and if you have any difficulties along the way. I'll be happy to help.
