In TSheets I have some projects that were created in QuickBooks Online then imported, and some that were created directly in TSheets when I was  new to the program. Is there an easy way to find out how a project in TSheets was created?

    Hello @Steve Wortman, welcome back!

I know how important it is to identify the Customer/Jobs & Projects that are not connected to QuickBooks because they were created in TSheets.

The way I identify them is by going into the Customers/Jobs section in your TSheets account. Then you can go into the editor for each Customer/Job and if the name is grayed out then it came from QuickBooks. If you are able to edit the name of the Customer/Job then that means it was created in TSheets.

If it was created in TSheets and you still need to use it, then you will need to create the Customer/Jobs in QuickBooks and make sure the names match 100% so that they merge together when you sync!

It may seem a bit tedious if you have a lot of Customers/Jobs but it will be the fastest and easiest way to identify Customers/Jobs that are not connected to QuickBooks.

I hope this helps and if you need anything else please reach back out to us at any time!
