QuickBooks Time- can't select multiple service items in reports

I'm incredibly frustrated that they recently updated QuickBooks Time again so that you can't select multiple service items at the same time when pulling a report.  WHY?  We had this functionality, then they took it away a few months ago, then they brought it back, and now it's gone again.  Makes no sense to me whatsoever.  We use the service items to track profitability on our client accounts, and we desperately need to be able to run a project report and select as many service items as we'd like for the report.  I don't understand why in the world this function would be taken away.

I know how changes and unusual results affect your productivity when pulling up data using the reports. Allow me to help you with your concern about the function in QuickBooks Time.

 

Can you share the specific project report you're having issues with when choosing multiple service items? Any screenshot you can add regarding the result would be greatly appreciated.

 

You should be able to select multiple service items when running reports. Since you're having issues, the browser's cache may be full. 

 

It can cause unusual behavior, such as being unable to choose many service items in a report. I'd suggest logging into your account using a private browser.

 

It doesn't store data in the cache. Thus, it's a great way to isolate browser-related issues. Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

 

From there, select multiple service items again. If it works, let's clear your browser's cache to have a clean slate so it'll function efficiently. If it doesn't work, use other supported web engines to get the best and most secure experience with the program.
