QuickTime and Quickbooks

Horrible connection between quickbooks and quicktime.  Every day I spent an extra 2 hours fixing our daily timecard.  Job ids are not being downloaded seamlessly.  We constantly have to refresh system in order for jobs to appear.  In the meantime, my guys would have to clock-in on a generic job id until system is refreshed.  End of day becomes a tedious process.  This system has never been so bad until recently.  I don't know what's going on but either it gets better or we'll find better.

I'll share guidelines that could help you get through this.

 

If you have arranged your tasks in QuickBooks Time or brought in clients from QuickBooks or any other program, but they do not show up in your QuickBooks Workforce (previously known as QuickBooks Time mobile application), then you can try the following steps:

 

  1. If you installed QuickBooks Workforce (formerly QuickBooks Time mobile app) before you added jobs to the web dashboard on your computer, your device may not have synced with the web dashboard yet. 
    • In the app, select More, click Settings, then Help & Support, and click Sync data. 
    • At the bottom of the app, choose Track Time, then Time Clock, and search for your job or customer to determine if the sync worked.
  2. If that does not work, ensure you assign the jobs or customers to team members.
  3. If your jobs or customers still have not synced to the app, you need to reset the app.
    • Before resetting the app, ensure any timesheet data stored on your mobile device has synced with the web dashboard. 
    • In the app, click More, select Settings, and pick Reset App.
    • Select Reset App to confirm.
