time kiosk issues

We recently started using a time kiosk to sign in and out. However, a few employees have experienced an issue....the time kiosk is signing them out early...the employee has not input their time out. When they go to sign out, the kiosk is telling them they are already signed out when they were still working.

Anyone else have this issue.

Let me share some troubleshooting steps to fix the QuickBooks Time Kiosk app. This way, you can employees can sign out properly.

 

To start, ask your employee to uninstall and reinstall the app. Doing this will refresh the application on their devices so they can track their time without any issues. 

 

If they're still getting the same results, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Time Customer Support. This way, they can check for possible reasons why your employees are getting signed out and provide you with a fix. 

 

Here's how to connect with them:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Time and select Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern, then select Continue.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Chat with us to chat with a support expert.
    • Have us call you to get a callback from the next available expert.

 

In the meantime, they can install the QuickBooks Workforce app on Google Play or the Apple Store and track their time from there.
