Accountant cannot see Custom Reports

If I create a custom report and share it to "all" the users in my Quickbooks company can see the report but the accountant cannot.

Apart from exporting the report as a PDF is there any way to share the custom report with the accountant?

I’ll provide some info about your accountant being unable to access your custom report, @c-edwards.

I can see how time-saving it would be if your accountant can view the custom report you shared. This is an issue that some users, including you, are having. Rest assured our engineering team is working nonstop to enhance the product and give the best experiences to all QuickBooks users.

With this, I’d recommend you contact our Customer Care Support so you’ll be added to the list of the affected users. You'll receive a notification via email once a fix is available.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Help (?).
  2. Select either of these to start: Assistant or Search.
  3. Choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat
  • Call us

If you opt to start a chat is available from Monday – Friday. Otherwise, you can call us during Monday-Friday from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm, and from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on Saturday-Sunday.

Yes, you’re right, we can export the file as a PDF as a workaround. We can also export it as an Excel. You’ll want to consider letting your accountant access your QuickBooks Online company. Feel free to open this article for the detailed process: Manage and share custom reports in QuickBooks Online Accountant

If you’ll need to save the changes you’ve made, you can memorise the reports. From there, you can also edit and delete it.

If you have other concerns other than the custom report, please don't hesitate to pop a comment below. I'd be glad to answer them for you. Take care.
