Aged debt, future cash

Hi

Is it possible to run an aged debtor report that shows the current status of things that were outstanding at a past date. As an example, running the aged debt report for 31st July but accounting for subsequent cash receipts.

Sage does this. Does Quickbooks Online?

Hello JFquick,

I appreciate you for posting here in the Community space. I'm here to help share information about the report available in QuickBooks Online.

The equivalent report of Aged Debtor in QuickBooks is the A/R Ageing. The details you can show in QuickBooks are limited and will depend on the filters and columns available.

You can click the Gear icon within the report to include more columns to show additional information (see screenshot below).

Also, there are only two ageing methods available. Current (based on today’s date (current status) and Report date (based on the report date (status on a specific date). For more information about ageing reports, check out this link: Run an accounts receivable ageing report.

There are many ways to customise your reports. I've attached an article you can use to learn how to filter them to show specific accounts or customers or format the layout so the data shows up in the right place: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Let us know if you still have more questions about the reports in QuickBooks by leaving a reply. Take care, and have a great rest of the day. Take care always.
