Question

Budgets. We are uploading budget cost centres which works one by one (we have 28) but will the P&L easily report on a company wide consolidated budget value. Per month?

We will phase the budget (mth by mth) once all uploaded but it's very odd we cannot upload a single sheet with all cost centres.  We are using the Online Pro version.

Let me share some information on how budgets work in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Budgets won't affect the Profit and Loss report since it isn't an actual cost. However, you can use your previous Profit and Loss report to create a budget in QBO.

 

On the other hand, may I know if you're using a third-party app that can upload budgets into QBO? Please know that there isn't a way to upload budgets in QBO UK.
