Can I automatically bring previous end of year's balance/cash in bank into my budget as part of our income for the current year .

I have created a budget for 01/04/23 to 31/03/24 but under income there is no line to automatically bring in the end of year cash balance on 31/03/23

I recognize the convenience of adding your previous year's data to your current year's budget could be helpful to you and your business. There's no way to automatically bring in your year-end cash balance in QBO.

 

While this feature is unavailable, I recommend sending your feedback to our Product Development Team so they can review it and consider implementing it in the future. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.
