Hi there QB community

can you help

after realising i cant export to hmrc.

My accountant has asked me for a link to access my quickbooks info - to help reduce his fees …

i have tried but cant find anywhere to send a link or set him up as a linked party

thats in the QB program and the Inuit account.

is there anyway i can give him acces to the info without him having editing abilities ?

or do i have to send him all my log in details for him to gain access ?

many thanks

Dooogie

Thanks for posting in Community, @douglas HUDSON. Let me provide some info about allowing accountant access.

In QuickBooks, an accountant user has all the access rights. It means that they can review your books, make corrections, and fix any tricky transactions. That being said, giving the user access to the info will enable them to edit details in the system.

For more insights about this feature, you may review this article: Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can use this to add and remove accountants from your file.

Keep me posted if you have other questions about giving access rights to an accountant. I'll be around to answer them all. Have a nice day!
