Good morning - my settings on my bank books have changed so i am not able to see my running balance and transactions - please help!!

I'll share with you some things you can do in this type of situation, @-kurimamachinery

 

The first thing you can do is check your online bank's page. If the web address or URL is different, go back to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company. Right after, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Highlight the Transactions tab, then select Banking.
  2. Tap Link account.
  3. Search for the online bank's new web address or URL.

 

If you can see the online bank on the list, you can reconnect it with the same account from before. You'll have to disconnect the old connection first. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions tab, then select Banking.
  2. Look for the online bank in question, then click to highlight it. 
  3. Tap the Edit (pencil) icon, then choose Edit account info.
  4. Tick Disconnect this account on save.

 

Ensure there are no transactions left in the For review tab before proceeding since they'll be lost when you disconnect an account. After that, see this article for the steps: Connect your bank feeds using Open Banking

 

Otherwise, if your online bank account is unavailable for connection, what you can do is upload bank transactions by hand. Refer to this article for more information: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online
