Hi - I wonder if its possible to extract historical cashflow statement by month i.e. full year showing month by month?

Yes, it's possible, murtaza.

 

We can pull up the Statement of Cash Flows report and customize it to get the information we need. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports tab, select Statement of Cash Flows.
  2. Click the Customize button.
  3. Change the desired Report period date.
  4. Click the Rows/Columns arrow and select Months.
  5. Click Run Report.

Now, we can have the desired statement by month.

I do not see the rows and Column arrow. Where is it?

I'll show you where you can customise your report's rows and columns in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Rboyt29. That way, you can add details or personalised it based on your preferred information.

 

When pulling up the statement of cash flow report, we can add certain columns and rows by tapping the Customise button. I added a snapshot below for your visual reference:

 

After that, you can refer to the steps below to continue:

 

  1. Under the Customise report window, drill down the Rows/Column arrow.
  2. In the Column section, select Months to display monthly transactions on the specified date.
  3. Once done customising it, hit the Run report button.
