Question

Hi - this morning I made an account Inactive by mistake and need to make it Active again. Any idea how I do that? Thx.

The standard pointers seem to deal with making an account Inactive, not reversing the process.  There's got to be a tick box somewhere ...

I got you covered, DavidB3. I'll share some details on how we can isolate this issue. This way, you can seamlessly manage your account.

 

Let's add the inactive account from the list so you can make it active again. Let me walk you through the steps.

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and then Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the Gear icon and put a checkmark in the Include inactive checkbox.
  3. Find the account you've accidentally inactive from the list.
  4. Under the Action column, click Make Active to activate the account again.
