How can I retrieve the chart of accounts (Trial balance) of previous years that have been archived in Quickbooks?

The charts of accounts for the previous tax years 01/11/2018-31/10/2019 and 01/11/2019-31/10/2020 have been archived by previous in-house quickbook analyst but I cant seem to find it. Can you please help with a guide on how to retrieve this? Precisely I’m looking for how archived files in quickbooks can be retrieved

Hi there, jmstransport22.

 

We'd want to make sure that we get this sorted out. Can you also tell us how the Trial Balance was archived? Was it exported to Excel or PDF? If so, you may need to look for the file on your computer or ask the person who archived it where it was saved. 

 

Also, your data in remains in QuickBooks Online as long as they're not manually deleted. You can go back to the Trial Balance report and use the date that you need in the Report period section. You should be able to see the amounts for each account for that period.
